Просмотров 5 тыс.7 месяцев назад
Want a rear bar but can't justify forking out over $4,000 on top quality?? I tried the CHEAPEST option on the market- an Ozi4x4 Rear Bar. At only $1700 shipped from WA, this was by far the cheapest option at the time of making this video. Watch Jordan, Dad, Ben and I install this rear bar, complain about the issues, and celebrate the victories of a cheap, average quality rear bar. Let me know i...

LEGEND mate!
Umm yea the title is a bit misleading...
Hey Will, did you ever consider or explore buying replacement tips online and swapping them over yourself? Seems like an easy enough job to do. Thinking of doing that with my 1HD-FTE injectors to save some money. What are your thoughts? Cheers, Sam
Epic job mate. Will you help me install mine? Will pay you for your time of course..
Great vid. Reconditioning , ie just seals, on the steering box seems pretty simple. Wondering what $500 to $ 800? Why not do it yourself?
@@garydavo07 reco box would be around that price. I did it myself recently for around $120 with a seal kit. Not too tricky just requires patience
@@WillsLandcruiser thanks mate. i think ill take a day off to play with the puzzle that is the balls into the steering box. PS excellent advice re punch marks.
Use a little electric hand held inflater/deflator. Sucks out all the air in the mattress, more than what rolling it does :)
What about under 100 thousand kilometres should i change and how do i know
I’ve only recently got my license I’m not much of a car guy I live on 40 acres 1hour outside of Melbourne I want a highlux if you can recommend something I’d appreciate it
excellent idea thanks for sharing
This is a great improvement power wise but it is going to come at a cost maintenance wise. Never miss a oil and filter change. The extra soot in the oil will increase wear. But nice power just the same. The amount of fuel being used for that power is at the top end of the air fuel ratio as evident from the smoke on acceleration. I'd be interested in a follow up video to hear what changes you have noticed to the fuel economy when driving normal. Tnx
Bro, bro, what about economy? Like when towing and when not. Do one on that.
Worth watching just for the screwdriver on masking tape tip. I just love how this engine family only have the cam on the belt, the rest being gears, it take the pressure off of the belt leading to reliability even when neglected.
Is therre a monthly fee for these devices or it one hit payment
No monthly fee- just the cost of buying the device
How can I see toyota sienna 2004 model remote controller
awesome idea with the polly pipe extention. I may be stealing this idea.
Thanks Will from the past. Worked first go for me (sorta). First 20 turns didn't, but after starting the procedure again after waiting a few seconds it seemed to kick into program mode about half way through the 20 key turns then all good! Absolute legend. 98 petrol 105 here.
Does anything need to be done to the ecu if installing a blocking plate on the egr? Does it affect power by blocking it?
Hey Will, great vid! Can you put up a list of mods with priority to tackle first?? My 560k km FTE is getting unresponsive also.. currently stock!
Hey mate, first place I would start now is changing injector lines and changing/upgrading injectors to make sure you’ve got good fuel flow. Then as far as mods go, the unichip is a really great place to start if you just want a simple addition for more power. If you’re chasing big numbers then go for a bigger turbo as well. Go check out my latest videos on converting my 105 to an FTE. I do all the mods to that build
Manstaaaabbs Broo !… come to 🇲🇨 for adventure !.. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This was a great video. I live in Madagascar and want to add a turbo to my 1hz. Do you have a link where I can order it? Thanks for the informative video.
Step one: get a new car
😂😂😂😂😂
Can I use filler primer instead of undercoat?
Great video mate very helpful. Just wondering what happens with the key lock?
Can be removed or I left mine in there and put sound deadening over the top of the barrel for waterproofing reasons. It will be unplugged and useless though
10:12
They make the 105 A hard decision with the underpowered engines, and the alternatives with 100 series having two world-class petrol and diesel engines that are more likely to being good nick on a used example
To be fair, that car was fucked before you took it in, NO 1HDTFE is that slow standard. Also whats with all the black smoke? +70 injectors? why? they will only output what the injector pump inputs into them? How about tell the truth and tell us what was actually wrong with it before you took it in??
If you were to redo the 1HZ Turbo upgrade and performance modifications what would you have changed or added to mitigate the engine blow out?
Ceramic coated pistons for one. A better high flow turbo (I was running a JB) and probably a front Mount intercooler to keep the exhaust temps as low as possible (top Mount is okay but you’ll naturally get more flow through a front Mount)
Another great video. Are you running the fte on a mechanical pump? If so how did you do the conversion, and what pump did you use?
Hey mate, nah it’s the standard FTE pump. Wouldn’t even have to make a video about the wiring if I had a mech pump 😂 Few good Facebook pages about the process around converting to “FTM”
How did you go about the bullbar? Being the fact of lifting the body but wouldn’t the bullbar stay where it is?
How about working hard at hardly working!
Does it actually make a noticeable difference?
After the headache a fck around we just had with ozi 4x4 to just be able to collect it I’m not excited to be fitting this up today
They messed me around a lot too…. I actually asked for my money back and they finally caved and sent the bar
Yeah we waited 3 months for our bar, got told it was in and when we went to pick it up the store was closed called them got on to some bloke in VIC and they wound up sending someone in that was a ex employee so we could get the bar. Won’t be buying anything else from them again. We didn’t have half our nuts or bolts for the bar
@@zacgossage5164 yep unfortunately I had a similar experience. They tried to charge me hundreds more shipping once it was in stock because it had to come from Perth instead of Sydney?? That’s when I asked for a full refund and they sent it anyway
Hey mate great video. Can you say what paint you used?
It was a PPD industrial semi-gloss black. Looking back, I wish I applied at least 2 coats, 3 or 4 would have been good even. I did 3 coats on my towbar and it’s held up great
It works on a 2000 model 105 series landcruiser petrol engine....awesome thank you,
Hi mate, What sorta carpets are they and where do u get them from
I call Bob Marley my uncle. Does that count?
17l per 100 Wow I get better than that towing a 2.9t caravan
Nice work mate. Just curious, what's your background - are you a mechanic? Your knowledge is ridiculous good !
Thanks! I did part of an apprenticeship but life had other plans. Most of my knowledge is self-taught or passed down from dad
@@WillsLandcruiser nice mate
Purring like a kitten 😍
What exhaust you have on there?
It’s a red back exhaust. Definitely rate it
Great video thanks mate, what was the brown stuff you put on the new gaskets?
Great Job looks great
What's in that 75 series it sounds tough
2H with a turbo!
Epic job Will. Kinda entertaining to watch. But great to see someone having a go and succeeding.
Just wanted to point out what a lot of people get confused about. The tires are 2 inches taller, but that only raises the height of the vehicle by one inch since the radius went up by one inch and of course the axle rides at the height of the radius, not on top of the tire.
Its not even an inch. going to 285/75 r16 from 265/75 r16 gets you 15mm more diff clearance
🤙🤙
Great motor
PDI supply a different pipe for a CT26 Style turbo, should suit better, also when i cut my holes through i folded the cut flap back to protect the radiator. thats what is specified in the instructions
